My name is Alenda Gridley and I am an artist, wife and mother and have been busy raising my family and farming with my husband west of Morrin. Our three children are all independent now so I have more time to focus on art. I have a diploma of Fine Art and have a great appreciation of art and continue to learn through in class and online workshops. Personally, I love drawing and painting but like to explore other mediums as well. I grew up in a small town and realize our small communities do not have a lot of opportunities to explore or learn much about visual fine arts so I enjoy sharing this passion through the school as well as community organizations such as 4-H and Marigold Library. I've focused my teaching on basic drawing skills, life drawing, printmaking, collage as well as Art History.
